About Us
Growing Health
We know that food raised on healthy land with healthy farming is healthy food. We act as stewards of this land, caring for its health to support yours. 80% of our pigs diet is fresh grass and fresh hay from our farm. 20% of their diet is nonGMO feed to meet the required vitamins and minerals for optimal growth.
About the breed
We strive to preserve the Kunekune breed. With their docil, friendly, loving characteristic, they make wonderful pets, companions, and livestock. They are a slow growing heritage breed, with a 12-14 month grow out. They produce a red well marbled scrumptious meat. Kunekune pigs have a higher fat content categorizing them a lard pig. Kunekune pigs are easy on the pasture and fence. They do not root like your typical hog, and they respect the fence. They do best with pasture rotation and moving them off prime pasture during the winter months.
Delivery and pick-up
We do offer delivery and pick-up. Deposits are required for Breeding stock.
